RIP
In 2005 we lost a very close colleague Sandra W, she
was such a big fan of the Kids First charity group,
I would like to dedicate this website to Sandra W.
She was diagnosed with cancer. She was such a good
supporter to Kids First, and very helpful to colleagues
so this is why I decided to dedicate this site to
her, Click here to

What
is Woolworth's Kids First?
Woolworth's Kids First is an independent registered
charity established by Woolworth's plc. Founded in
June 1999, it enables Woolworth's employees in stores
and offices to support community-based projects of
their choice to benefit children. Involvement in the
scheme is voluntary with responsibility taken at a
local level for each initiative The charity plays
an important role in enabling Woolworth's to be at
the heart of the local communities that it serves
for the benefit of millions of children throughout
the UK. For

raised though the Woolworth's business, its employees,
customers and suppliers.

What's
this site about?
From here you can read how well we are doing, starting with
fun days to handing over the cheques. There are also pictures
that we have taken on the special days, we would like to point
out that all pictures on here were taken with the permission
from parents or guardians, we don't add any pictures without
permission. There is also puzzles & games for children
to play. Don't forget to leave us your comments.
How
do you raise funds?
Some of the items have been donated by staff /Boss/ Companies.
We also raise funds but have special raffle days; we even
sell our own cakes at work to the staff. If you want to read
more on how you can raise funds click
here.
Payments
We are sorry to say that Kids First Hereford don't have a
bank account, so to help you out we have decided to use our
own on-line shopping cart, and our account. What we do is
we keep records on what we sell and at the end of the month
we give kids First their money, we don't make any profit on
anything we sell.
This
site is nothing to do with Woolworth's
It's run privately by myself, and is here to show you what
we have managed to raise over the past through running Kids
First Hereford.
Thank you
Markie
